BAKU, May 7. /Dunyo IA/. On May 2–3, Azerbaijan hosted a higher education exhibition featuring universities from Uzbekistan, along with a series of B2B meetings held as part of the event, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The exhibition was jointly organized by Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, and Ingla School Baku. More than 40 representatives from 15 universities our country participated in the event.

During the opening ceremony, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, members of parliament, and representatives from Uzbekistan delivered remarks highlighting the growing cooperation between the two countries in science and education.

Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan noted that recent years have seen significant reforms in the national education system, including curriculum modernization, the adoption of international standards and digital technologies, and strengthened partnerships with leading foreign universities.

The exhibition showcased academic programs in medicine, pharmacy, engineering, information technology, and other modern, in-demand fields. Azerbaijani youth had the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives and learn about scholarship opportunities and application procedures.

As part of the visit, the Uzbek delegation also toured several prominent Azerbaijani institutions, including Baku State University, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
